....And if you think creating 3D design isn't worth all the trouble ( and you could be right), here is the recipe for making REAL hungarian gulyas, the way my sister makes it in hungary, Trust me, she is the best cook you can find.
Now, it might be a bit too spicy for some taste, but what the heck, try it anyway.
Get some small chunks of beef,fine slice a big onion and lightly brown the onion in cooking oil ( motor oil will not do !) or lard (hey, that is what the original recipe calls for). Mix in the meat and some red ground HUNGARIAN PAPRIKA (sweet or hot, depends on your taste). Just stir it for a couple of minutes ( this is the part the kids can do) than add plenty of water. Here is the part that I have to let you into a secret: hungarian gulyas is not a stew, it is SOUP. Put some salt and black pepper into the soup and cook it for about an hour or so. Now you can put in some carrots, maybe a tomato cut into 4 pieces. Cook it for half an hour. Than add potatoes (viceprezidential spelling) slice to chunks , and do not forget to peel and clean them first. This is not clam soup, that a little sand is OK to grind between your teeth !
Cook it for another 20 minutes or so and it is ready to serve to the unsuspected.
